This guesthouse is so good and friendly, Nala is the person in that guesthouse and she was really good. This location is great for car parking. I was so happy there with bedroom and toilet. Excellent !!

Owner was brilliant! Location was sensational, with easy access to bus and ferry services as well as a host of amenities near by. Loved it.

Good. An older Queenslander style house, roomy verandahs. Clean and well kept, Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Staff offered us bunk beds when we specifically ask for double bed before hand. Then a friendly couple offered us to change rooms, but staff would make us feel guilty about this change. the staff (mostly one of the ladies) were very rude and racist at one point (they commented about our nationality in front of us).

Friendly staff, giving advice on where to find amenities. Also great general advice for living in Australia.
Communal kitchen/dining area could do with more facilities

Excellent service, friendly Staff that offered ideas on what to do in my leisure time. Beautifully clean room, and amenities. The place was quiet and peaceful, Lovely gardens. Transport is easy, bus stop right outside the front door (literally) the ferry is an easy 3 minute walk. The price was very good. I will be recommending this to my friends and family.
Hmm, scratching for a negative .... The toilets are a tad small, wouldnt want to be claustrophobic (which Im not) :P

Very. Friendly welcome. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bus stop right outside door. Nice area outside of town but close enough to pop in and out.
No tv but this was probably a good thing. Free fast consistent wifi made up for this

The stuff is very friendly and the place (room, bathrooms, kitchen) are clean.
Our room was on the groundfloor near to the garden and there was a space between the door and the floor which could be crossed from the spiders. We found one spider (not too big) in the room). But you can ask for a room on the first floor.

Ellies Guest house is ideal as its in a lovely quiet area and only a ten minute walk to the ferry. And bus transport is right outside the guest house. Perfect location.

The hosts were really friendly and the location was excellent. There we some lovely verandahs to sit on and have dinner.
It is in need of some refurbishments. The whole room decor seems to have been done on the cheap. It is resonable for the money that you pay but dont expect glamour.

Customer service. Very clean. Beautiful comfortable bed. Efficient public transport right at the front door.

The bed was comfortable.
But it was very small, expensive and the pictures on the internet did not show that it was so run down! We had just spent 3 nights in a one bedroom apartment with swimming pool and lots of room on the Gold Coast and there was no comparison. Said there was private parking off street which wasn't true
